Nadine Meeker, Winters Productions Owner

At age 6, Nadine began putting pencil to paper for her first short story. After getting rave reviews from her storytelling grandmother, she was hooked on writing. During high school, her journalism teacher nurtured her ability that resulted in inclusion into a gifted writers program and a full tuition scholarship for journalism. By 21, she'd written for three various newspapers with circulations in the tens of thousand. She holds an Associates of Science degree in journalism and psychology – two areas that help when it comes to making client copy that sells. 

Sherry Lusk, Editor

Sherry has been teaching college English for twenty years at various universities. She's currently at Northwest Mississippi Community College. Her specialties are grammar and editing. She is the newsletter editor for a national organization with over 3000 members. She has done editing for masters and doctoral students, novelists, software companies and for both print and web publications. In addition, Sherry is a writer herself. She has written her own textbook as well as hundreds of instructional handouts and supplements. She also enjoys screenwriting and fiction writing.

Bridget Petrella, Graphic Artist/Writer

From Aliquippa, PA, Bridget Petrella is nationally published cartoonist, illustrator, graphic designer, magazine publisher, web designer, radio talk show host, producer and personal publicist to numerous daytime television actresses. In other words, she's done it all. She runs UPBEAT Entertainment Online and Nite Owl Productions, Ltd., an innovative independent film and television production company with a deeply committed foresight to the future of both the film and television industry.

american-copywriterBased in Monroe, Michigan (just south of Detroit and north of Toledo, OH), owner Nadine Meeker has been writing for decades.

She began Winters Productions part-time in 2000. As the company grew more successful, she made it her full-time career in 2002. 

Over time the business became more than she could handle alone. She brought in other talented U.S. residents with no less than a decade of experience to round out the staff at Winters Productions. Although she does most of the work herself, she does occasional give tasks to her other staff members if their experience matches the client's needs.

Winter Productions has helped businesses get promotion they tried to achieve for months in a matter of weeks, or even days. In addition, their work has been viewed by people around the globe.

Although they have close to an 80% returning client rate they still love to meet new people everyday. Serving new clients is always a treat, but one of the greatest rewards is seeing returning faces. 

Helping people, and having them return, has monetary value. But the greatest joy is knowing they've helped someone and that their clients trust Winters Productions to come back again and again. 

So like Somerset Maugham once said, "We do not write because we want to; we write because we have to." It's a passion. It's a need that must be filled in order to survive, like air. We write, because as Somerset said...we simply have to. 

Susan Carr, Head Writer/Editor

Susan has been writing since she was given a manual typewriter for her twelfth birthday. Over thirty years later, she is still writing and used her experience in a variety of professional and volunteer efforts. She's worked as a proofreader and editor for several companies in the South Florida area and currently does freelance work while volunteering for Distributed Proofreaders, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality public domain books to Project Gutenberg's collection of free e-books.

Shannon Lynch, Head Graphic Artist

Having nearly two decades of experience in the field of Graphic Design, her expertise has ranged from big brands such as TGI Friday's, Popper's Snacks and Blue Bunny Ice Cream, to hometown brands for local business owners in her native North Carolina. Shannon does it all – book covers, product packaging, corporate identity, brochures and other sales tools. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Appalachian State University, Boone, NC. When she's not hard at work, she loves spending time with her husband and kids or coaching high school basketball.
